Awesome Daily #134: When you know a hotline interface by heart

Usually, when you call the support hotline of a company, it’s not the last time, because there is almost always a follow-up call due to something still not working as intended. Unfortunately though, they never put you through to an actual person straight away, so you always have to go through the same old procedure where a computer voice asks you several questions and points out the fact that some calls can be recorded to improve future customer satisfaction.

But if you’ve done that several times already, you kinda know what buttons to type, so you can rush through all of that on the express lane straight to… yes, the waiting music. Annoying, but at least you saved some time getting there – awesome!
